Every Avenue ‘Picture Perfect’
7/10, Album. Punchy commercial pop punk rock. Recommend: Girl Like That
Framing Hanley ‘The Moment’
5/10, Album. Typical US mainstream rock album. Not particularly impressive and quite pedestrian in the main. Could be popular with some radio play. Recommend: Built For Sin
Kids In Glass Houses ‘Youngblood (Let It Out)’
7/10, Single. This track shows a band starting to live up to their rock hype and this will be able to walk onto the radio. They’ll need to follow it up, but can’t wait for album next March!
Them Crooked Vultures ‘Them Crooked Vultures’
8.5/10, Album. Amazing this is only a sideproject for Grohl and Homme. Really enjoying the darker and more varied sounds. Brilliant! Black. Recommend: Elephants.
