The Somebody’s ’50 Trib To The Brothers Gibb’
5/10, Album. Bunch of top producers re-make classic Bee Gees tracks. It’s ok, really, but I can’t understand why you wouldn’t rather listen to the Bee Gees originals.
3OH!3 ‘Want’
5/10, Album. Electro, pop, rap album. Not a band to be taken too seriously. Essentially these songs are not really good enough to work with or without Katy Perry’s help!
Mariah Carey ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’
6.5/10, Single. Mariah uses all her emotional power to belt out this Foreigner cover. As sentimental as you could get and proves what a great song it is in the first place. Prefer the original for sure.
Rihanna ‘Rated R’
9/10, Album. A much harder edge. She sounds strong and determined. This is another huge album with songs that will become huge hits even though they’re not ‘obvious’. A cracking album. Recommend: Stupid In Love
